One Touch Dialing

Welcome to Say Long Distance’s One Touch Dialing instructions.
Based on your feedback, we have provided instructions for
configuring common mobile phones for easy One Touch Dialing of both
the Access Number and your destination long distance number. By
simply adding our local Access Number and a pause in front of your
long distance numbers, you can dial your long distance numbers
directly from your directory with just one call selection.
We have provided simple instructions for configuring One Touch
Dialing for all of the phones below. Keep watching this page as we
will be updating it with additional phone types based on your

To set up one touch dialing on your iPhone:
1. Go to your Contacts directory and select your
destination long distance number for editing.
2. Enter your local calling area
Access Number in front of your
destination long distance number.
3. After entering the Access Number, click on the '+ * #' key in the
bottom left hand corner of the iPhone keypad. This will expand the
selection of key pad options to include a '+', '*', '#', '123' and a
'pause' button.
4. Click on the pause button one time to insert one small pauses,
and a ',' appears.
5. As an example, in the Vancouver local calling area, your contact
should look like this: 6046307222,1xxxxxxx for Canadian and USA
long distance contacts, or like this: 6046307222,011xxxxxxx for
overseas long distance contacts.
6. Save this contact and use it whenever you are calling this long
distance number from this local calling area.

To set up one touch dialing on your Blackberry phone:
1.Go to your Contacts directory and select your
destination long distance number for editing.
2.Enter your local calling area
Access Number in front of your
destination long distance number.
3.After entering the Access Number, depress the push wheel and
select "insert soft pause". Repeat so that two soft pauses are
inserted.
4.As an example, in the Vancouver local calling area, your contact
should look like this: 6046307222pp1xxxxxxx for Canadian and USA
long distance contacts, or like this: 6046307222pp011xxxxxxx for
overseas long distance contacts.
5.Save this contact and use it whenever you are calling this long
distance number from this local calling area.

To set up one touch dialing on your Motorola phone:
1.Go to your Contacts directory and select your
destination long distance number for editing.
2.Enter your local calling area
Access Number in front of your
destination long distance number.
3.After entering the Access Number, press and hold the '*' key until
a 'p' appears.
4.As an example, in the Vancouver local calling area, your contact
should look like this: 6046307222p1xxxxxxx for Canadian and USA long
distance contacts, or like this: 6046307222p011xxxxxxx for overseas
long distance contacts.
5.Save this contact and use it whenever you are calling this long
distance number from this local calling area.

To set up one touch dialing on your Nokia phone:
1. Go to your Contacts directory and select your
destination long distance number for editing.
2. Enter your local calling area
Access Number
in front of your destination long distance number.
3. After entering the Access Number tap or press the '*' key 2 times
until you see a 'p' appear
4. As an example, in the Vancouver local calling area, your contact
should look like this: 6046307222p1xxxxxxx for Canadian and USA long
distance contacts, or like this: 6046307222p011xxxxxxx for overseas
long distance contacts.
5. Save this contact and use it whenever you are calling this long
distance number from this local calling area.

To set up one touch dialing on your LG phone:
1.Go to your Contacts directory and select your
destination long distance number for editing.
2.Enter your local calling area
Access
Number in front of your destination long distance
number.
3.After entering the Access Number, select the option key and then
select 'add pause'. Repeat so that two soft pauses are inserted.
4.As an example, in the Vancouver local calling area, your contact
should look like this: 6046307222pp1xxxxxxx for Canadian and USA
long distance contacts, or like this: 6046307222pp011xxxxxxx for
overseas long distance contacts.
5.Save this contact and use it whenever you are calling this long
distance number from this local calling area.

To set up one touch dialing on your Samsung phone:
1.Go to your Contacts directory and select your
destination long distance number for editing.
2.Enter your local calling area
Access Number in front of your
destination long distance number.
3.After entering the Access Number, press and hold the '*' key until
a 'p' appears.
4.As an example, in the Vancouver local calling area, your contact
should look like this: 6046307222p1xxxxxxx for Canadian and USA long
distance contacts, or like this: 6046307222p011xxxxxxx for overseas
long distance contacts.
5.Save this contact and use it whenever you are calling this long
distance number from this local calling area.

To set up one touch dialing on your Palm Treo phone:
1.Go to your My Favorites directory and select
your destination long distance number for editing.
2.Replace the number in your Number field with the Access Number .
3.After entering the
Access
Number, select the 'More' button. Then in the "Extra
Digits" field, enter the letter 'p' followed by '1' or '011' and
your destination long distance number
4.As an example, in the Vancouver local calling area, your 'Number'
field should display 6046307222 and your 'Extra Digits' should
display 'p1xxxxxxx' for Canadian and USA long distance contacts, or
'p011xxxxxxx' for overseas long distance contacts.
5.Select the check box: 'Dial extra digits automatically'. Select
'OK' to save the contact and use it whenever you are calling this
long distance number from this local calling area.
